We love receiving feedback from customers. We're always blown away by the amount of creativity there is out there! We also love to give back to the community whenever we can. In this case, we donated No Days Mosaic Mesh and No Days Glaze to the Old Town Academy for their annual fundraiser Gala. The students are led through the art making process by amazing teachers, artists, and volunteers creating fantastic artwork that gets auctioned off.

 No Days Q Stik Mosaic Adhesive from Streuter Technologies is a heat set adhesive with an easy peel backing that reveals an industrial strength, pressure sensitive adhesive, ideal for permanently mounting mosaic design elements to interior surfaces, from picture frames, mirrors, mirror frames, and furniture, as well as wall spaces.

Streuter’s heat set adhesive offers the convenience of being able to quickly cure tiles in place for immediate grouting, as well as the freedom of being able to remove or reposition tiles easily if you change your mind or the design. "I work with glass integrating different techniques, including mosaic, kiln-formed (or fused) glass, glass painting and stained glass. I enjoy experimenting with and combining various techniques and processes, using them to add new facets to my work. I am influenced by intricate geometric designs and color exploration, incorporating a love for quilting, textiles and bright colors inherited from my mother, who was an avid quilter. I love the meditation of breaking glass into many pieces, building them together into a new form. I enjoy that kilnformed glass can be a challenge. There's always a chance for surprises and accidents. When the kiln lid closes, the glass can shift as it changes from a solid to a liquid and back. The transformative and independent nature of kiln-formed glass and its lessons of detachment have helped me evolve not only as an artist but also as a person, and makes me want to share glass as a medium with as many people as possible."

Glass on Glass with No Days Mosaic Adhesive

Using NO Days Mosaic Adhesive to create glass on glass mosaics is a quick and easy way to finish a stained glass window without having to worry about lead or solder.


Begin by cutting all of your glass pieces to fit your pattern.


Place the NO Days Mosaic Adhesive on your glass substrate, cut to size and begin building your mosaic. When all of your glass pieces are in place, you’re ready to heat set the adhesive.

No Days Glass Fusing Adhesive is a heat set adhesive that cures strong and burns off in the kiln leaving no residue.

Featured Artist - Jacqui Bush of Stained Glass of McKinney

Each month, Streuter Technologies features an artist using NO Days products in our newsletter and on our webpage.  October's featured artist is Jacqui Bush of Stained Glass of McKinney!

Jacqui Bush took her first copper foil class in 1997 and hasn't looked back.  From flat glass to warm glass, and silver art clay to enamels, her classes and experimenting continue. In 2004, she could no longer resist the call of the glass and left her career in technology to open a studio. Her studio offers a wide variety of classes in stained, leaded, beveled, etched, fused and painted glass. She repairs and restores glass, creating custom work, as well. 

She has a contagious passion for glass in all its forms and loves to share it with others. Through teaching and demonstrating, she works (or rather plays) to increase public awareness of glass art through special events, educational classes, and community involvement, offering free or low cost classes to art teachers in public education through the "Teach the Teacher" program.

Jacqui enjoys teaching teachers about glass art, and how to bring it into the classroom to inspire the next  generation of glass artists. Kids LOVE glass, but the mosaic process can be messy when using traditional adhesives and grout!  It's easy to teach them glass history and how glass is worked. Jacqui and colleague Brenda Fee co-authored "Artistically Inspired: Glass Lessons for the Art Classroom," with 25 lesson plans designed to incorporate the history and process of creating glass art into the school curriculum.

Jacqui's Renaissance Mosaics

Jacqui is always coming up with new techniques to share with her students. She teaches "Groutless Mosaics" incorporating beads, vintage or memorable jewelry and other objects with glass tiles.  Using NO Days Mosaic Adhesives with fused glass powders, you can create intricate designs on fused glass to make faux screenprinted or stamped designs without the inconsistency and mess of mixing mediums.  The NO Days Mosaic Adhesive burns clean, leaving you with a detailed pattern in glass. 

  CAUTION: Be sure to use a proper respirator when working with glass powders.


Begin by choosing your design. You can use an exacto blade to trace an image. Otherwise, it’s easy to use paper punches and decorative edged scissors to make multiple identical designs. It’s even possible that your local scrapbooking store has die-cut machines available for use, which will allow you even more options for patterns and shapes.

August, 2011 Featured Artists - Vicki Day & Nola Cabral of The Stained Glass Shop...
Meet featured artists Vicki Day and Nola Cabral of The Stained Glass Shop in Glendale, Arizona.
Vicki and Nola bought the shop in 1986, which had sold traditional leaded glass supplies, finished goods and held classes from a suburban strip mall since 1971.

Warm glass was incorporated into traditional stained glass, and the Shop’s classes, virtually from the beginning. Shortly after purchasing the shop, Vicki and Nola went to their first trade show, took their first fusing class and bought their first kiln. Vicki then traveled to Los Angeles and took a class from Gil Reynolds and her fusing career took off. Originally, Gil traveled to Glendale to teach fusing classes for the shop; then Vicki assumed that role and Gil visited to teach only specialty fusing techniques. Vicki’s expertise and continuing education has allowed her to become The Stained Glass Shop’s professional when it comes to fused glass.

In 2001, The Stained Glass Shop moved into a space designed and built to their specifications to enable them to provide more warm glass classes.

 Although the shop is just across the street from the old location, they have more retail space as well as a better-designed teaching area. They also have the capacity to run three - 220V kilns and six - 8” kilns all at the same time! When teaching some techniques they need all that fire power!

Their fused glass mosaic technique has been developed over time with the help of two special people: Diane Sepanski, who had the original idea, and Mary Beth Maddox, who helped define the new process. Vicki & Nola love using No Days ThinFuse Adhesive in their Fused Glass Mosaic Classes because it eliminates a firing and cuts back on the amount of time it takes to finish a project. Prior to the advent of No Days Thin Fuse Adhesive, the colored tile pieces would be laid on the background glass, then the piece would be tack-fused. Now the pieces can be heat set with the adhesive, allowed to cool, and finished with frit glass grout all before being kiln fired.

June, 2011 Featured Artist - Glenda Emory of Glenda Emory Designs.  
  Glenda works as the Studio Specialist & Instructor at Hollander Fusing Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She is also the secretary for the Atlanta Glass Art Guild. Glenda became enamored with glass fusing after taking a beginning class in 2006.

She loves using No Days Liquid Fusing Adhesive for kiln casting because "it allows you to pile more glass into the mold, therefore getting more out of your cast piece. The No Days keeps the glass that sits above the mold line from shifting and ruining the mold or making a mess in the kiln."

Leigh Adams emits an energy and exuberance brighter than the purple in her hair! She loves sharing her knowledge of mosaic with students of all ages, but especially enjoys working with children to create public art. Although most of her work is done in the Pasadena California area, Leigh has traveled and worked with children in Mexico, China and Central America for many years.

Whether teaching folk arts, language or life skills, Leigh believes that cooperative learning, achieving consensus and building new skills which can result in public acknowledgement are some of the greatest gifts we can give our children and our society.
