Streuter Tech Instructor, Carrie Strope getting the students ready for
NO Days Groutless Mosaic Adhesive Coasters |
In November, 2011, Streuter Technologies was invited to JoAnna Vitale's stained glass shop in beautiful Cooper City, Florida, near both Fort Lauderdale and Miami. There's loads of eye candy to get ideas sparked when you walk in the front door: books, products, projects, glass...

Groutless Mosaic Coaster class in full gear! |
Art Glass Connection offers
workshops covering "anything and everything about art glass and we have classes in session year round so there is always something to choose from. We take great pride in the ability of our teachers to not only do quality work in glass themselves but to pass that information along to our students in a format that makes learning fun and relaxing." Check out their great selection of classes,
here. Whether you want to play with the torch, the kiln, grout or solder, you'll find a class!

Shop owner JoAnna and her assistant getting ready for the afternoon
NO Days ThinFuse fused glass mosaic class. |
I was able to spend the whole weekend with JoAnna playing at Art Glass Connection. So, we were able to offer two classes (both ThinFuse fused glass mosaics and Groutless Mosaic Coasters), as well as do the NO Days demo, where I showcase each of the products in turn and show customers (and shop owners) how to use the products.
