No Days Doodle Plate Project Sheet

To download the pdf, visit Streuter's project gallery.
Detail of 'Tiger Lily' by Calyx Glass
The Doodle Plate is created using a sheet of clear fusible glass, Carolina frit, No Days Liquid Fusing Adhesive, Glassline pens and a pattern template. By designing on both sides of the clear glass, you can add a lot of depth and interest to your piece and make it look much more complicated than it actually is!

'Kale Mandala' by Carrie Strope Sohayda
The 'Tiger Lily,' 'Kale Mandala' & 'Sand Dollar Mandala' are all modifications of mandala images found in Dover Publications Mandala Coloring Books. They're a great source for inspiration and color play.
'Sand Dollar Mandala' was created
using Glassline pens on both sides of the clear glass base.
I visited the Stained Glass Station in Lee's Summit, Missouri and taught this technique. The students had a wonderful time, but they also went away to create even more plates! Check out the great designs that Mandy from Creations by Amanda is putting together:
