She recently used No Days Mosaic Adhesive to complete a mosaic installation on Wedi Board. "Both the installer and I are quite pleased with the results. No Days Mosaic Adhesive worked really well."

"When working with larger ceramic tiles (that can sometimes be warped), you can layer the No Days Mosaic Adhesive to build up a thicker layer of adhesive behind the pieces." Alternatively, she suggests using the No Days Groutless Mosaic Adhesive behind the tiles that are warped, because it is a thicker layer of film that eliminates the need to layer the adhesive.

"I got quite good at building up layers of adhesive, using the heat gun, etc.  I have developed some good
 skills and techniques."

As well as making the ceramic tiles, Santa Theresa Tile Works offers classes in making tiles and mosaics. Watch for the New Technology Workshops, where Susan offers her experience and advice in working with No Days Mosaic Adhesive. Some of her students have gone on to create architectural mosaics of their own, including a large mosaic fire pit.

Creating Fused Glass Mosaics Using No Days ThinFuse

To download the pdf, visit Streuter's project gallery.

Creating fused glass mosaics is a breeze using No Days ThinFuse. When you heat set the adhesive to hold the glass pieces in place, you create a faux tack fuse with a super strong bond that allows you to "frout" (grouting with frit) your piece without waiting! If the glass pieces set up but they're not where you want them, simply re-heat to re-position the piece.

Featured Artist Jennifer Urbaniak of My Little Pink Boutique

Jennifer Urbaniak of My Little Pink Boutique

"I was working for a supplier in the art glass world about 4 years ago as a general manager for the company, when I decided to try my hand at crafting. Barb Steffan from Sunshine Glassworks exposed me to fused glass, and I was hooked from day one!

I began creating and selling my jewelry pieces in local art shows. This past summer, I proudly received two awards: Best in Show at the Lancaster Fine Arts Show (Lancaster, NY) and the Special Judges Award at the Quaker Arts Show (Orchard Park, NY).

I have begun lampworking in the past few years, as well as building mosaics occasionally. I love the No Days Mosaic Adhesive Film because it allows me the freedom to easily remove and replace tesserae as I change my mind and my mosaic designs evolve!"

No Days Road Show - The Glass Galleria - St. Louis, MO

Glass Galleria owner Ann Novotny ~ all smiles!
Streuter visited The Glass Galleria in Saint Louis, Missouri the weekend of April 28th, 2012 for a No Days Road Show and Groutless Mosaic Adhesive class!
Students sampling the different styles of Toyo cutters available

No Days Instructor Carrie Strope Sohayda opened with demos of the different mosaic adhesives before diving in and having students start cutting glass for their Groutless Coasters. If you've ever wanted to try a different style of cutter or need some tips on cutting glass, then you need to get to a Road Show! Carrie had Toyo's complete line of cutters available for practicing with and explained the differences between the designs and cutting heads.
